Drafting and Design is My Passion
I'm a Designer . Polishing my skills in drafting and becoming a knowledgeable professional in every sense, is my ultimate goal. My success starts now!
In my studies in engineering and drafting & design at ITT Technical Institute, I was taught basic engineering theory and practical skills in many CAD & BIM programs throughout the education process. I enjoyed learning every program, but I did focus on 2 or 3 for more proficiency in specific areas of design. My instructors recommended that I pick 2, and put alittle more time/hours in them for stronger appeal when searching for employment.
The programs that I put the most focus on are:
-
AutoCad
-
Draft Sight (2D)
-
Inventor Pro
-
SolidWorks
-
Revit Architecture (Update: I have been in the mechanical field, so this program NOT as stong at the moment)
-
PhotoShop (Update: have not been using it professionally often at the moment; but I am proficient. Like riding a bike )
-
Gimp (PhotoShop Free Version) I have been using this for modifying photos; see very bottom of "Work Samples" tab
-
Illustrator (Update: have NOT been using it professionally often at the moment)
-
InkScape (Illustrator Free Version)
I have over 10,000 hours on both AutoCad, Inventor and SolidWorks programs and I would have no problem taking an aptitude test to show my skill level.
Thank you, for taking the time to review my bio page, and I looking forward to maybe having the opportunity to speak with you in the near furture.
